A George V ‘Arts and Crafts’ sterling silver hot water pot, London 1923 by Omar Ramsden (1873-1939)

of baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, a C scroll handle fitted with ivory insulators pinned to scroll junctions, leading to a hinged domed lid with a scroll thumbpiece surmounted by trefoil formed finial. The body with repoussé decoration of stylised tessellated scrolls, otherwise with planished decoration. Fully marked underneath and part-marked to bezel of lid. Also signed underneath ‘OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT’.
