A William IV sterling silver gilt vinaigrette, Birmingham 1838 by Nathaniel Mills
Of rectangular form with engine turned decoration. The hinged lid raised by a chased foliate scroll thumbpiece. Engine turned decoration the lid with a vacant rectangular cartouche. The gilt interior with a hinged pierced grill of foliate scrolls. Fully marked between base and lid, maker's mark only to grill.

Length - 3.2 cm / 1.25 inches

Weight - 19.8 grams / 0.6 ozt
