The soft red field with angular floral and leafy vine together with bold palmettes around cusped floral medallion with pendants containing double floral centrepiece. Arabesque and floral spandrels. In an indigo border of multicoloured serrated palmettes, angular rosette and leafy vine between double flowering vine and plain stripes, approx: 347cm. x 263cm. Good type with well balanced colours and well drawn design. This carpet has slight localized wear down to knot collar in places. Selvages rebound. Ends with fringes, secured. Despite the imperfections, this carpet is in decent usable condition. Very good furnishing piece.
