An album of 46 albumen prints, image size 22 x28cm (smallest) to 23 x 29cm (largest), pasted down onto album pages recto/verso, overall measuring 31 x39cm, most captioned, numbered, and signed in the negative, some with photographer's studio stamp. Photographers include Hippolyte Arnoux (active c.1860-1890); Zangaki Brothers (active 1860s-1890s); A.C. Champagne (1880s-1890s); Gabriel Lekegian (1853-c. 1920); Félix Bonfils (1831-1885); P. Peridis (active c.1880s-1900s).
Subjects include views of the Giza Pyramids from the Nile; the Great Sphinx; the Djoser Pyramid; bas-reliefs from the Temple of Ramesses III, Luxor; various views of Suez, such as the train station; the Canal; a group of date trees near the Springs of Moses; a general view of Port-Said and its pier; and street views of Cairo, among others. The album includes scenes and portrait studies, such as a portrait of a woman in traditional dress with her children; an old man in traditional clothes with a shisha; a group of young couriers riding donkeys; additionally, at the end of the album, one image depicts a Yemenite ceremonial wedding caravan featuring a camel decorated with elaborated draperies.

Housed in black lacquered-wooden boards.
