A George III sterling silver gilt vinaigrette, London 1806 by William Ellerby
Of rectangular form with a hinged lid raised by a simple thumbpiece. Engraved and engine turned decoration to resemble basket weave. The interior with a hinged, pierced, engraved and engine turned grill of foliage. Fully marked to base, part-marked to lid, grill unmarked.
