A woodblock print, surimono, kokonotsugiriban yoko-e, from the untitled series 53 Stations on the Tokaido Road (Tokaido gojusantsugi), Fukuroi, the kyoka poem removed, without publisher's seal, framed and glazed.
Provenance: an English private collection since 1950s, authenticated by Phillips Auctioneers in the 1950s.
