York town mark – A George III provincial sterling silver beaker, York 1812 by Robert Cattle and James Barber (active 1808-1814)
of tapering cylindrical form with a reeded rim. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath.

The town mark of York is only rarely encountered on York silverware. This partnership was dissolved on the 1st of January 1814.
