Of rectangular form, with a hinged lid to a shaped thumbpiece. The top centring an oval painted enamel plaque of the The Geographer (De geograaf) c.1668–1669 by Johannes Vermeer, within a shaped blue guilloche enamel and white enamel frame. Gilt interior.
