Samuel Buck (1696-1779) was an engraver and topographical draughtsman. He produced more than five hundred prints of the remains of abbeys, castles as well as more extensive views of towns. From 1711-1726 he engraved his own works, after which his brother Nathaniel Buck worked with him on both drawings and engravings until 1753.
