A GARNITURE OF FIVE HEREND EMPIRE STYLE PORCELAIN VASES, 20TH CENTURY, with cylindrical bodies and ring moulding, paw feet supports on square bases, to comprise two vases, an oval form vase and a single vase, the pair 19cm high x 22cm diameter, the single vase 15cm high x 22.5cm wide x 14.3cm deep, together with a matched Herend vase, this lot is accompanied by Sotheby's sale catalogue for Britwell House, the collection of Mr David and Lady Pamela Hicks, 1979. (6)

Provenance: Sothebys, lot 1061 - from the collection of David Hicks and his wife Lady Pamela Hicks, Britwell House, Oxfordshire, 20-22 March 1979, which featured their private collection put together between 1960 and 1979, while they owned and lived in the house.

Notes: Another vase was made as an addition to the garniture at a later date and is included in this lot.
