C. BECHSTEIN, A BOUDOIR ROSEWOOD GRAND PIANO, LATE 19TH CENTURY, with gilt text 'C. BECHSTEIN Hof-Lieferant Sr. Maj. Des Kaisers u. Königs BERLIN', the iron frame similarly stamped, the interior also with printed stamp, with pierced music stand on turned and faceted tapering legs terminating in brass castors together with an associated Edwardian Art Nouveau mahogany and satinwood piano stool, with twin brass handles, the rising lid revealing three shaped dividers, the front and back marquetry inlaid with scrolling foliate motifs, on splayed legs. Interior stamp reads:

Provenance: The piano came into the posession of the current owner in the 1940s, and was renovated by Geoffrey Dancer in 1992
