A small Chinese Yaozhou celadon 'fish' moulded bowl, Northern Song dynasty
北宋 耀州青窰水波游魚紋盌

The finely and delicately potted conical bowl with steep rounded sides rising to a gently everted rim, the interior elaborately moulded with four scaly fish swimming amidst dense foaming waves, the centre decorated with a seashell, the exterior with radiating ribbed design, covered overall with a pale olive-green glaze
