Of rectangular form with bombe sides, the sides and base decorated with dense engraved foliate scrolls, the lid with foliate C scrolls, shells and lattice work reserves. The lid engraved “won by the BLK & WHT Dog Raby the property of T. L. Elmor Esqr., Scorton 1850” all below a crest of out of a mural coronet a dragon’s head. Gilt interior. Fully marked between base and top.
