Philip II (359-336 BC). AV stater (18mm, 8.50 gm, 10h). Lifetime issue of Amphipolis, 340-336 BC. Laureate head of Apollo right / Charioteer driving galloping biga right, trident head below horse's forelegs, ΦIΛIΠΠOY in exergue, each converted to a cufflink the fitting engraved initials H.S.B. (Henry Smith Bowers) Paris, 1918.
