A George IV sterling silver snuff box, Birmingham 1824 by John Lawrence and Co

Of rectangular form with rounded corners. The hinged lid raised by a chased rosette thumbpiece, with a rectangular cartouche engraved with initials J*C in gothic script. All over with engine tuned decoration. Gilt interior. Fully marked to interior.
