Sheffield 1876 by Martin, Hall and Co
A cased Victorian sterling silver naturalistic christening mug

Of shaped circular form, the handle formed as a blackberry branch, fructed, adjoining the body, the detachable base the same. Satinised surface and gilt interior. Engraved to the front with initials EER in cursive script. Stamped registration mark underneath and to rim for 21 October 1876. Housed in original fitted case. Fully marked to side and to base.

Weight – 171 grams / 5.5 ozt
