The dish delicately potted with a barbed rim and painted to the interior with two finely-painted butterflies hovering over a vibrant peony blossoming amidst foliage, the exterior covered in a ruby glaze and the base glazed turquoise, together with two similarly-constructed cups each painted to the well with a single flower
