A cased set of early Victorian sterling silver and steel scales, London 1839 by John Clark (reg. 30^th July 1823)

The weighing pans of silver, of dished circular form, the steel frame stamped Class I to weigh 1 Oz Steven & Son, Goswell Road, the reverse stamped VR crowned. Each fully marked to pan. Housed in a contemporaneous mahogany case.

Case length – 20 cm / 7.9 inches
