An Edwardian sterling silver bread basket, Birmingham 1904 by S. Glass

of shaped rectangular form with undulating die-stamped border of rocaille scrolls, all raised on four cast husk shell bracket feet. The body with pierced decoration of panels of lattice work interspaced by embossed decoration of acanthus leaves and a vacant central oval cartouche reserved in rocaille C scrolls and flower heads. Fully marked to side.
