Ink and pencil on wove paper, the vertical composition intended as a preparatory sketch portraying twelve seated men, all dressed as dervishes, mostly with long beards, wearing conical hats and long, loose coats and robes, five of them portrayed in the act of preparing food, the others either begging for food, observing or being absent-minded, set within black and red borders, mounted, glazed and framed, 28.5cm x 24.2cm including the frame.
