A fine and rare Chinese Longquan celadon washer, Southern Song dynasty
南宋 龍泉青釉洗

The small and finely potted washer of shallow form, rising from a low tapered foot and with flaring sides to an everted rim, overall covered in a translucent sea-green glaze that stops neatly at the foot reveleaving the grey body, together with a japanese wood box and cover (tomobako)
