A mid-20th Japanese silver and inlaid metal cigarette case, circa 1950
Of curved rectangular form with curved corners, the front with a scene of buildings, a river with a bridge leading to the sea with a ship all with Mount Fuji in the background, the reverse with a continuation of this scene. Copper inlaid and oxidised. Marked to interior ‘Silver’ and ‘950’, signature to reverse. Also, to include and early 20th century gilt metal, gold inlaid and lacquer cigarette case decorated with Egyptian hieroglyphs, circa 1920. (2)
