A mounted Japanese wakizashi, Meiji period, signed Hisahiro

Signed Hisahiro, with cloud-shaped habaki, gilt-decorated fuchi worked to depict a warrior in a leafy landscape, ray-skin same inset with menuki beneath a dark-coloured hito, the gilt-decorated kashira with a figure chopping three lengths of bamboo, the black lacquer saya with ishime-ji finish and inset with a gilt-decorated kozuka
