A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'LADIES' DISH.

Qing Dynasty, six character Kangxi mark and of the period.

Decorated to the centre with a young lady in a garden fanned by her maid, observing two rabbits, a crane in flight above, the rim with eight alternating panles of ladies and blossoms on a fylfot ground, with ruyi heads and blossoms to the reverse, 34.5cm diameter.

Provenance: the Sun Alliance Insurance Collection, London 2006.
