*** First scarce edition by Pietro Catena who was a lecturer of Mathematics in Padua before Galileo Galilei. He was one of the first, in the 16th century, to investigate the problem of the formal and epistemological evaluation of Euclidean mathematics, from the point of view of Aristotelian logic and philosophy.
