EUROPEAN GRAND TOUR ALBUM c.1870s. Brown morroco quarto album with brass clasp, comprising approx. 70 albumen prints with a small selection of cabinet cards, image sizes 265 x 200mm, (largest) 94 x 60mm (smallest), locations include Venice, Amsterdam, Potsdam, Berlin, Dresden, Cologne Cathedral under construction, Brussels, Pont De Garde; Nimes France, Rome, Prussian Royalty and German Imperial Family residences, a view of the Suez Canal by Hippolyte Arnoux, a group of hand coloured cabinet cards by Solveig Lund (1868-1943), together with a small group of English images.
