Daguerreian Unknown c.1857

AN UNRECORDED PORTRAIT OF JOHN BROWN - QUEEN VICTORIA'S PERSONAL SERVANT c.1857, sixth plate daguerreotype portrait, in a plain gilt matt with rectangular aperture, some siginificant tarnishing to the plate peripheries, in a side hinged marroon leather case. He can be seen in full facial profile in both of the two references below, and is also wearing the same clothes in both sittings.
