The shaded light blue field with two large shaped floral medallions together with simialr smaller panels and angular leafy garlands. In rust-red border of polychrome serrated palmettes and x-motifs between light blue small rosette and barber-pole stripes, approx: 140cm. x 106cm. Classic for this type with very elegant design and good colour combination. This rug has slight localized wear in few places, otherwise good pile. Wool on selvages slighty fraying in small places. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Nice furnishing piece.
