A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'SIX DRAGONS' JAR.

Qing Dynasty.

The ovoid body moulded with six lobes and painted with sinuous beasts emerging from stylised waves, the waisted neck with bunches of peaches and cicadas, the rim mounted in white metal with engraved inscription reading R.E. Smith Esqr. M.B.B.1904-1933, the base with a four character Chenghua mark, 30cm.
