A rare early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello tea caddy or dressing table box, Omara circa 1930 signed Dakheel
Of cylindrical form with a domed pull off lid. The lid with niello decoration of the Tomb of Ezekiel at al-Kifl, the sides with the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), dhow sailing boats in perspective, palm trees. Gilt interior. Signed to the side دخيل عمل (Amal’e Dakheel | the work of Dakheel).
