Elizabeth II, Queen of England

Remarkable presentation photograph by Cecil Beaton of Queen Elizabeth II in her coronation robes, signed and dated by the monarch ('Elizabeth R. 1953') on the mount below the image, also signed in pencil by Beaton, in blue leather frame with royal monogram on top, some silvering to darker portion of the image, the back of the frame with some damage consistent with age, easel detached.

PROVENANCE: the vendor inherited the lot from his mother who used to work for the Duchess of Portland.
