Possibly pforzheim circa 1925, import marks for London 1926 by George Stockwell
An early 20th century sterling silver and enamel compact

Of circular form, with a hinged lid. The lid and sides with opaque green enamel. The top decorated in the Japanese style with gilt scenes of mount Fuji and a traditional pagoda, seal mark, reserved in a scalopped border. The base with engine turned decoration. The gilt interior with fitted mirror.

Diameter - 5.8 cm / 2.3 inches

Weight - 58 grams / 1.86 ozt
