A Victorian sterling silver novelty vinaigrette, Birmingham 1841 by Taylor and Perry

Modelled as a book, engine turned decoration, the front with a rectangular cartouche engraved with initials CFCA in cursive script. The interior with a hinged pierced grill heightened with engraving of rosette within foliate scrolls. Fully marked to each side, the grill with maker’s mark only.
