SERGEANTS OF THE WEST INDIAN REGIMENTS IN HYTHE, 1860, albumen print, image size, 290 x 247mm, mounted onto album leaf, depicting six men of colour, five of which, in the same uniform.

Part of a collection of seventeen photographs (RCINs 2942127-43) taken at Hythe in 1860 by Fenton, who became a member of the Hythe School of Musketry and was placed in the 1st Section of Volunteers.
