The original Mystic Marriage of Saint Catherine is a c.1520 oil on panel painting by Correggio, now in the National Museum of Capodimonte in Naples.

The mystical marriage of Saint Catherine is portrayed widely, and often depicts visions received either by Catherine of Alexandria or Catherine of Siena, who experience a marriage ceremony with Christ, in the presence of the Virgin Mary, confirming and declaring themselves and their virginity to him. The present example depicts Catherine of Alexandria before Christ and the Virgin Mary.
