A George III sterling silver snuff box, London 1803 by Jospeh Ash I

Of rectangular ‘cushion’ form, with rounded edges. The hinged flush lid raised by a plain thumbpiece, the lid with a central rectangular cartouche formed of pellets, engraved with initials TB *GB in flourished cursive script, all edged with and engraved band of laurel leaves. Gilt interior. Fully marked to the base and part-marked to the lid.
