A Victorian Jacobean revival oak hall chair

the top rail carved with central armorial flanked by a pair of birds of prey, over a relief carved panel titled 'YE CRUSADERS IN PALISTINE' and date +-'AN. 1703 DM.', beaded and scrolling foliate carved border, over a plain seat, the apron inscribed 'ALL YE WELCOM LIE RESTE' on turned supports with barley twist H-stretcher, stamped 232 to verso of seat
