Arabic manuscript, in black ink thuluth script on paper, the top four folios on finely-drawn gilt ground, others on pale marbled ground, quotes and prayers, two panels with the letters of the Arabic alphabet, the bottom folio inscribed by Ala’al Din Tabrizi, possibly a later-added archaistic homage, vertically fitted into a single mount, framed and glazed, each folio 12.5cm x 22.5cm, 117cm x 40cm including the frame.
