Opaque pigments and acrylic colours heightened with gold on paper, the large vertical composition depicting a devotional scene of worship to the icon (murti) of Shri Nath Ji, the statue shown in the centre on a padded throne, playing the flute, and clad in pearl necklaces and flower garlands, a brahmin standing next to it and making an offering, around them twenty-two Rajput rulers paying their respect to the murti, at the top three miniaturised icons of Hindu deities (Rama and Sita - left, Three-faced Shiva - centre, and Parvati on her vahana, the lion - right), set within ochre yellow and white rules, and bright red borders, 61cm x 51cm.
