Note: The present lot was additionally signed by the artist during a stay at the Seaburn Hotel, Sunderland, where Lowry met the present owners. Lowry visited their home for tea, and as thanks Lowry signed the back of the framed print on their wall. Inscription to frame verso reads L.S Lowry 4th August 1970 To Joy & David.
