A FINE SERABAND CARPET, approx: 246cm x 175cm. The beige field with the overall design of densely woven rows of floral sprays. Rust spandrels are similar. In a beige border of angular floral vine between zig-zag, barber-pole, arrowhead and plain stripes. Unusual field design for this type, classic border. Soft colour scheme. This carpet has a full pile. Ends and selvedges original. Slight localised discolouration at the edge of one end. In general, this carpet is in good usable condition. Good furnishing piece.
