Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, twelve double-lines to the page, the Arabic text in black ink naskh script, and the Persian nasta’liq (with an elegant nod to the shikasteh) in red ink, gold rosette verse markers, catchwords, in gold, blue, and green rules, the text panel 48.5cm x 29.5cm, the folio 66cm x 44cm.

Provenance: purchased in Hong Kong in the early 1970s, in a private UK collection since.
