An early 20th century German 935 standard silver and enamel compact

Of circular form, with blue guilloche enamel. The hinged lid with painted enamel classical pastoral scene of a man offering a birdcage to a lady surrounded by sheep and a hound, reserved in a gilt flowery border. The gilt interior fitted with mirror. Stamped 935, Sterling and Made in Germany.
