A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND WHITE MARBLE LYRE MANTEL CLOCK the lyre case surmounted by a pair of scrolling acanthus leaves and floral garlands, the case framed in a wreath of laurel leaves on an oval support, the rectangular stepped white marble base with pierced scrolling borders on four toupie feet, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals linked by thin blue garlands, pierced brass hands, the twin train brass movement striking the full and half hours on a bell, signed 'Deniere, A Paris', numbered '2343' and stamped 'Juvenaux', with original matching numbered pendulum, 34.5cm high, 18cm wide
