A GEORGE V STERLING SILVER MUSTARD POT, LONDON 1913 BY ADIE BROTHERS
In the George III style, of circular drum form with a reeded loop handle leading to a hinged disc lid raised by an open work shell form thumbpiece. The body with pierced and engraved decoration of spiral slats, the lid with bright cut engraved decoration, with a removable blue glass liner. Together with a George III christening mug later converted to a mustard pot. The base marked London 1819 by William Fountain, the lid London 1833 by Thomas Whitehead, embossed decoration, removable blue glass liner (2)
