A GROUP OF THREE MYTHICAL CREATURES' HEADS
Deccan, Central India, 18th - 19th century and possibly Anatolia or Central Asia, 5th - 7th century

Comprising two brass dragon heads (makara), presented with the typical beak-like snout, sharp triangular fangs and wide-open mouth, the smallest mounted, 11.5cm high on the mount; the other makara head approximately 10cm x 9cm; and a bronze horse head with stylised foliage or wings on the back of its neck, 5cm at widest point.
