An early 20th century Chinese export silver cigarette box, Shanghai circa 1910, marked He Guo, retailed by Wang Hing
Qing Dynasty. Of rectangular form with a hinged lid. The lid embossed with a scene of seven figures, two holding a scroll. The sides with embossed peonies, all against a spot hammered ground. Wooden interior. Marked underneath with artisan mark 何国 (HE GUO), numeral 90, and retailer's mark WH.
