Persian and Arabic manuscript on paper, 47ff., each folio with 10 gold-sprinkled lines of Persian text in black ink naskh script, the Arabic text in black ink naskh with interlinear Persian translations in red ink nasta’liq script outlining appropriate acts and prayers for each day of the month of Ramadan, and listing the bread tax payable at the end of the month of fasting, the opening folio with gold and polychrome illumination, catchwords, within gold and black rules, marginal notes in Persian, a library stamp of Al Raji Mohammad Hassan Al Tabatabai dated Ramadan 1188 AH (November 1774), set in a red leather binding over tanned calf, the text panel 15.5cm x 6.5cm, the folio 21.7cm x 11.8cm.
