A mid-20th century Thai silver bowl, Chiang Mai circa 1950
Of compressed circular form upon three openwork rounded feet. The body with embossed high relied decoration of houses, trees, and figures going about village life with oxen pulling carts and ploughing fields. All below a band of flame scrolls, and above a band of betel leaves. Scratched underneath with baht weight.
