An early 20th century Chinese Export silver three-piece tea service, Shanghai circa 1910 retailed by Zee Wo
Qing dynasty. Comprising a teapot, a milk jug and a covered twin handled sugar bowl. Each of compressed circular form, the teapot with a curved spout modelled as bamboo opposite a modelled bamboo C scroll handle fitted with ivory insulators pinned to sockets. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable bamboo modelled finial with ivory insulator. The bodies with embossed decoration of a trailing Chinese dragon with applied wirework whiskers, the centre with a vacant circular cartouche forming the pearl of wisdom, all against a matted ground. The lids with flat chased bamboo reserved the same. Each marked ZEEWO and artisan mark XING興. (3)
